This week we made vegetable kebabs. This is a really healthy way to try to help us eat 5 a day. This is how you do it:
1. Choose some vegetables that you like - they can be red or yellow peppers, onion, courgettes, red onion, mushrooms, cheery tomatoes or any other vegetable that you like.
2. Wash the vegetables and prepare.
3. Cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
4. Get some bamboo kebab skewers (available in all large supermarkets) and thread the vegetables onto the sticks.
5. Cook the kebabs in the oven or under the grill until the vegetables are tender.
If you like meat, you can add chicken, beef or pork to the kebabs too. Just make sure that it is cooked before eating.
