Fruit and Vegetable Dips

This week we made some scrummy dips to dip fruits and vegetables in. They were delicious. This is how we did it:

Fruit Dip

Cut up a mango and put into a bowl. Mash the mango.

Mix in 150g of greek yoghurt and a tablespoon of honey.

Dip in your favourite fruits, to make them extra yummy.

Vegetable Dip

Cut an avacado in half. Remove the stone and scoop of the flesh.

Squeeze in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.

Mash the ingredients up.

Mix in 2 tablespoons of sour cream.

Chop up one tomato and add to the dip. Mix in a few chives

Dip in your favourite vegetables - celery, red or yellow pepper, cucumber or mini sweetcorns would be great.

Yum Yum Yum!!

This sounds delicious! I also like that it's really kid accessible and they can help. I've been looking for more healthy cooking blogs, and I think yours might fit the bill. Do you have a lot of "recipes" like this that make it easy for kids to help out?
