This week we made cookies. You will need:
100 g chocolate chips
50g raisins
125g unsalted butter
100g white sugar
75g soft brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
15og plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder

Here is what to do:
1. Heat the oven to 190C/ Gas Mark 5. Line 2 trays with baking paper.
2. Heat the butter in a pan until it has melted. Weigh out both types of sugar and pour into a mixng bowl.
3. Add the liquid butter to the sugar mixture. Beat with a wooden spoon. Then add the egg and the vanilla extract and stir again.
4. Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture and stir. Then add the chocolate chips and the raisins. Mix well.
5. Dollop the mixture onto the baking trays leaving a lot of space between then, as they do spread out a lot.
6. Bake for around 10 minutes until they are golden brown.
7. Remove from the oven. Leave to harden for about 5 minutes. Then enjoy.
